@BenkaiDebussy a very robust basis ?? talk normal why dont you. if you have never heard of a skeptic that understands that climate science is complex then i suggest that you start reading more . try reading claude allegre , cristopher monton , david archibald , anthony r lupo ,dr roy spencer ,dr abdussamatov and a thousand others who dont believe the warmers garbage by the way dr abdussamatov thinks that the ice caps on mars are melting . imagine that !

@throwerofturds Michael Crichton has as much authority to talk about climate science as I do. I've never heard a skeptic who actually understood the fact that climate science is a very complex, involved field with a very robust basis. There are many different models used (which is why it's absurd when someone says that one set of fraudulent data disproves the theory). Read the wikipedia article on "global climate model" to at least get a feel for the fact that this stuff isn't voodoo.

@throwerofturds You don't understand how science works. Studies are submitted to journals and reviewed by others. If a study has an error, other scientists point that out. Some scientists being fraudulent has no bearing on whether current theory is correct. As for funding, FAR more money exists in interests that would rather not regulate stuff like CO2 emission. Not a single conservative has addressed the actual science of climate change - only tried to simplify it as incorrect talking points.
